Challenge: A major U.S. government agency needed to unify secure authentication across its internal systems, to make sure only authorized users were able to print certain documents.
Solution: Using our expertise in system configuration, network topology, and installation, Saguaro led the development of a Federated Authentication (FA) integration that met the agency’s specific requirements. We then tested the system to ensure it achieved their high security standards under real-world conditions.
Result: The U.S. agency successfully unified its login system across multiple applications, providing its users with simpler, more secure, centralized access to printing resources. Noting that the U.S. agency is now compliant with modern security standards, other government agencies are also reusing or planning to reuse the FA integration we developed.
Challenge: To meet rising security expectations and protect sensitive data during printing operations, a leading global technology provider needed to ensure full encryption throughout their enterprise print workflow.
Solution: Saguaro designed, implemented, and tested the encryption functionality end to end, including both technical execution and coordination with the technology provider’s internal stakeholders.
Result: We successfully managed collaboration across multiple teams, with different schedules and environments, to deliver a fully encrypted print flow solution that performs on par with non-encrypted setups. The technology provider can now offer enhanced printing security to their customers, supporting stricter compliance requirements while maintaining performance and flexibility in print environments.
The Saguaro Print lab houses specialized hardware that includes various rack-type configurations of high-performance servers, as well as a range of printers. The lab also has a customized network infrastructure; dedicated devices such as print engine simulators; and the capacity to accommodate large volumes of office-type multifunctional printers.
