Doina founded Saguaro in 1999 to provide a new level of software engineering service to U.S. technology companies. As CEO, Ms. Mazilu is responsible for setting the strategic direction for the company and for ensuring the overall quality of services delivered to clients. Ms. Mazilu has more than 30 years of experience in the high tech sector, and prior to founding Saguaro served as VP of Engineering for Hitachi’s U.S. operating unit. Beyond her role as CEO, Ms. Mazilu is passionate about giving back to her communities and has contributed regularly to community aid, charitable organizations, and scholarships in the U.S. and Romania. She received her MBA from Pepperdine University and a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Justin is the General Manager of Saguaro Technology where he is responsible for corporate strategy and overall client services. Mr. Brown joined Saguaro with more than 20 years of consulting and human capital leadership experience across a variety of industries; from private technology companies up to a Fortune 500 publicly traded entertainment software firm. He has deep experience managing change and transformation, mergers and acquisitions, rewards and incentive design, talent management, and shareholder engagement.
Mr. Brown holds a Bachelor of Science from Maryville University of St. Louis and resides in Los Angeles, California.
Adriana joined Saguaro in November 2007 and has served as the Finance Manager for Saguaro’s Romanian entities since 2017. With her experience in corporate financial direction and team leadership, combined with her accounting and analytical skills, Adriana also provides financial counsel to inform business decisions in Saguaro’s Romanian entities. She has more than 15 years of experience in accounting, and she holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics issued by West University of Timisoara and a Master’s degree in Analysis, Diagnosis and Business Evaluation. She is a Certified Expert Accountant which is part of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Romania.
In her free time, Adriana likes to travel, read and spend time with family and friends.
Gabriela joined Saguaro in February 2022 and she is part of the Human Resources department for Saguaro’s entities. She has more than 7 years of experience in human resources, and she holds a master’s degree in Business Administration issued by the West University of Timisoara.
For the past few years, Gabriela attended various courses related to Human resources to develop her knowledge and skills in this field.
In her free time, Gabriela likes to read self–development books and travel with her friends.
Zoltan (“Zoli”) is one of Saguaro’s Engineering Directors and is responsible for planning and managing the engineering activities for High-Performance Printing projects and clients. Before joining Saguaro in 2000, Mr. Takacs gained initial work experience at several information technology companies in the Timisoara area as he completed his education. He holds a B.S. in systems engineering from the Politehnica University of Timisoara. In his spare time, he enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, and skiing.
Valentin (“Vali”) is one of Saguaro’s Engineering Directors and oversees the development for all software projects for Saguaro’s High Performance Printing clients. He is also responsible for coordinating the Software Support, Information Development and UxD operations. Prior to joining Saguaro in 2001, Mr. Chisevescu worked on multidisciplinary projects that included thermal spraying, barrier coating, and human bone biocompatible implants with the Romanian National Research & Development Institute of Welding and Materials Testing. Vali also served as a VP of the Timis County Youth Foundation for a couple of years. He holds a B.S. in electrical engineering, from the Politehnica University of Timisoara, a B.S. in computer science, from University of Oradea, and a Master’s degree in electrical engineering from the Politehnica University of Timisoara.
Alin Stanescu leads the department that manages, supports, and maintains Saguaro’s state-of-the-art computer systems, networks, and communications systems. He makes sure that the entire technology infrastructure remains robust, reliable, secure, and readily accessible, so that Saguaro can deliver its high-performance software-based solutions to its clients and provide world-class support throughout the software product development lifecycle. Alin’s goal is always to be at the forefront of technology and communications, and to maintain the impeccable security of Saguaro’s infrastructure.
Alin’s professional career in information technology spans over 20 years in both the private business and government sectors. He joined Saguaro in 2000, in the Quality Assurance department of Saguaro Print. He progressed to a System Administrator position in the IT department and served as IT Department Manager for Saguaro Print before assuming his current role.
Before Saguaro, he was a software developer in the IT department of the Romanian Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure’s Road Administration Regional Agency, based in Timisoara. He was involved in the development and implementation of a road traffic data recording and toll collection system. Alin holds a bachelor’s degree in information technology from the West University of Timisoara as well as a number of certifications in systems networks and systems software. In his free time Alin likes to travel and read about world geography.
Andrei serves as one of Saguaro’s Engineering Directors and he is responsible for planning and overseeing software development, quality assurance, and hardware design activities for automation solutions, with the main focus on high-performance material handling systems. Prior to joining Saguaro in 2009, Andrei worked for Alcatel-Lucent as a Software Engineer. He holds a B.S. and master’s degree in computer science from the Politehnica University of Timisoara. Outside work, Andrei is interested in traveling and in discovering new cultures and new places. His favorites are Mediterranean locations, especially Greece and Italy.
Dorin is one of Saguaro’s Technical Managers, leading and managing development activities for clients primarily within the Life Sciences industry, Cloud computing, and smart office systems, such as unified communication systems and interactive whiteboards. Prior to joining Saguaro, he worked at RISC Software GmbH in Hagenberg, Austria, where he supported industrial software applications. He holds a B.S. and master’s degree in Computer Science from the West University of Timisoara; during his master’s he was also an Erasmus / Socrates mobility grant recipient while studying at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz, Austria. In his spare time, he enjoys tennis and traveling with his family.
Caius serves as one of Saguaro’s Engineering Directors, overseeing strategic planning and execution of quality development initiatives for High-Performance Printing projects and key client engagements. With a strong background in technology and education, Caius joined Saguaro in 2000 after working in education and in the banking industry. He holds a bachelor’s degree in information technology from the West University of Timisoara. Outside of work, Caius is passionate about travel, outdoor pursuits such as hiking, and exploring world history through reading.
